Christopher Bevin, D.M.D., M.D.

Christopher Bevin, D.M.D., M.D. Christopher Bevin grew up in Storrs, Connecticut. He attended Middlebury College in Vermont graduating Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude earning a B.A. in Physics with a minor in Spanish enabling fluency in this language. He was an all New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) high jumper for the Middlebury Track and Field Team his senior year. After college, he worked as an acoustics engineer at Electric Boat in Groton, Connecticut ensuring that U.S. Navy submarines were appropriately quiet to elude detection by foreign countries.

Dr. Bevin’s desire to work with his hands and interest in health-care led to a dental degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in 2001 and ultimately to complete a residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine in Rochester, Minnesota in 2007. During this time, he received a medical degree from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine in 2005. In addition, he was also blessed with a wonderful wife and three children.

The medical and surgical training at the Mayo Clinic provides him with the necessary expertise to treat a wide range of head and neck diseases and conditions in addition to traditional dentoalveolar pathology. His special areas of interest include dental implant rehabilitation, bone graft reconstruction, and orthognathic surgery. He is on the surgical staff at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center and at North Adams Regional Hospital providing emergency services to these communities along with other partners in the practice.

Dr. Bevin, his wife, and three children live in Bennington close to their extended family and friends. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast and loves to hike, ski, and play tennis and enjoys raising his family in this picturesque New England setting.
